RED ARMY T-34 TANK (Tamiya)

This gun kills nazi scum.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model of a Red Army T-34 (76 mm early gun version) tank in rather generic colours with some medium weathering (by which I mean rusting). Scraped metal edges were done with the side of a pencil. All of the handles were built from wire to give then the correct size and look. The slogan on the turret says "for country" in Russian cyrillic. I think it is a Tamiya kit, but cannot remember any details about it. I failed to put glass in the headlamp. In the background of the third photo are the tracks and wheels of a Sherman tank in Canadian markings as it may have appeared during the Korean War in about 1952. These two types fought during that war. At the bottom of these images is a photo of me riding in a T34 tank.

Me in the T-34 at the Canadian War Museum's TANK DAY on 27 August 2016.
