This is a 1/75 scale model from VEB Plasticart of
DDR East Germany of the
Antonov-2 biplane. The AN-2 is the world's largest single-engined biplane, and hundreds are still flying as you can buy one for less than $100 K if you can afford the fuel.
The kit is very very rough, and I converted it to a USSR DOSAAF trainer. I think the original version of the kit was supposed to represent a sight-seeing version in
DDR German colours. I bought the kit at an IPMS Ottawa meeting for a dollar. Decals are from various unused sheets of Russian fighters and even tanks.
