RED BARON FOKKER TRIPLANE (Revell)
This Fokker DR.1 Triplane is shown in the markings of the Red Baron the month prior to his death. It is a Revell 1/28 scale kit. It was bought new at Hobby House of Ottawa, but Revell of Germany had failed to include the lower half of one wing and the decals. After months of waiting the part and sheet arrived by post. It is a slightly modified Vallejo acrylic Italian red applied with an airbrush. I built the scene using a bamboo cutting board and coffee stir sticks I acquired from a coffee shop.
